I need coffee and cigarettes.

Not that I drink coffee or smoke cigarettes or anything. Just that maybe if I had the writing atmosphere, I could get into the writing mood.
Felicia did some commentary on my story, which helped me clean up some bits of it. Some things she's 'corrected' I already edited on my copy since posting it on LJ, but it's the thought that counts. I wanted to get him off that roof tonight, but I'm not sure it's going to happen. Maybe, but I need caffeine, of which I am in short supply.

I also need to have a nigh-finished draft of a nigh-finished story by next Tuesday, for my Creative Writing conference. I'm going to have her go over whatever I have for The Ascension, but she wants at least one finished piece by the end of the year, and The Ascension will be a novel-sized work if I can help it, so I don't expect it to be done in another two months. Not at my pace, anyways. I think I'm going to take Sunglow and turn it from a Snippet into a ShortStory, and see how that goes. Flesh it out into more of a world-view type, and see if I can get it to go for five or so pages... it my be a bit of work, but that's what i plan on working on this weekend. that and my philosophy paper which is due next Wednesday. Whee.

So, yeah, maybe I need coffee and cigarettes...

hiyas andrew! its been so long..... i have a great idea. we should get together some time and TALK. Blarg.. tell you the truth i'd love to get a chance to talk to some one who likes to read/write sci-fi/fantasy like stuff. *sniffle* you and forrest are the only people who i know up here, and you are the only one i have ever really interacted with. so gimme a call sometime (i know i have your number, but i won't use it till you call me first.. i am shy like that. stop laughing.) and speaking of cigarettes and coffee, what you need is a diner. in richmond we have the 3rd street diner where you can sit and drink as much coffee as you can. ^.^ so look for diners..
