In a word: "Eeeeeeee!"

Ouch, headache... *winces*
Well, I've been sick today -- I caught a cold or something, and it's been playing havoc with my sinuses, which is no fun at all.
But I hardly noticed it today, because I've been so jacked on adrenaline!
The reason being that I want to see Suzannah today.
I'm so happy - words can not convey!
Now, before anyone jumps to any conclusions, nothing 'happened,' really, to cause me such joy. It was just REALLY nice seeing her, and it was a lot of fun! And, dude, wow just, yeah!
Now, then, about my visit... I got there at about 13:00, and she was down cooking cookies, cause that's what she does when they're out of cookies. She cooks them. She agrees with me, though, that sugar cookies are better raw, when they're little more than eggs and sugar and milk and such... So, right, she cooked said cookies (cause that's what you do) as I was not-so-slowly introduced to her family: Her sister Maizie, older brother Dan, and younger brothers Will, George, and Joe. Then she made up some tea (oddly-spiced tea which I haven't had before -- I think I'm still mostly a black-tea kinda guy) and, she, George, Maizie and I (with spurts of Joe, who's 8, and that says it all) sat and talked a bit, about nothing in particular. After the tea, the four of us played a game of LotR Risk which, like all Risk games, was fun in the beginning, then slowly stretched out until George held 2/3rds of the board and I held 1/3rd, and it was only a matter of time before he squished me like the bug I was!
Then her dad came home from work -- but (and take note of this, those who know me) he didn't scare me! Even Leslie's and Claire's fathers scared me, just on principle, but... -shrugs- The ladies made dinner -- pork with mashed potatoes, green beans, and bread. The pork was in an odd, sweet-type bar-b-que sauce, which was good, but the green beans (as typical) weren't to my liking (I'm not a big fan of green beans). The potatoes and bread made up for it all, though -- I should have had more!
We talked over dinner, and found that her father had graduated from Catholic University (school of nursing), and that they go to St. Jude's Parish -- my old grade school when I lived here last! It was fun and stuff. Her father told me that if I wanted seconds on anything that I should speak up -- I told him I knew the drill, but didn't say that I had eight siblings of my own at home! -laughs-
After dinner deserts were brought out, but aside from her father (who had peach pie) and myself (who had a piece of banana-bread cake which Suzannah had apparently made -- I don't like nuts), and a few cookies snatched with tea, nothing much was eaten. As the rain had stopped by then, Suzannah asked that we (she, George, Joe, and I) might walk the dogs, and so we did. We talked, most of the way, about movies, actors, and the like, but at one point George asked if I'd ever played Final Fantasy...! Suzannah said she liked FF8 (don't hold it against her -laughs-) but she knew what I meant when I asked about FF6 ('The one with Edgar?'), which rocks! And she's interested in FF9, as am I, as it's the only 'modern' FF that I've heard consistently good reviews on.
When we got back, Joe was shepherded up to bed, and the rest of us (Suzannah, Maizie, George, and Will) went down stairs, where we talked a bit more (while Suzannah had more tea) and talked more about nothing. It was grand, and we all had a blast.
At about 21:00 it was time for me to go, and Suzannah, Maizie, and George waked me out to my car. She, of course, thanked me for coming, and I in turn thanked her for having me -- and suggested that we see more of each other sometime. And with that, I was off.
But Dude, wow! I was struck all day by how beautiful she is! I must sound like a complete fool, not to mention hopping from one girl to another, but I'm not and she is! Yes, I got a picture of her, though I hesitate to post it, as I don't feel it does her justice. I in fact took two, but the better of the two came out very heavily blue-shaded for some reason and I took it to Photoshop to fix the colors -- that's what you see here, so it's a little off. But dude, she's pretty, and she's Catholic (first time in YEARS!) and she might be interested!! I just hope some shmuck doesn't make a move for her while I'm still getting up the guts...! Wheeeee!
Meh, that really doesn't do her justice... But I'll leave it up because you asked... I'll see if I can fix it better and/or get a better picture up sometime...
Better picture Here.
