Even on the darkest nights...

Well, Rachel made a good point this afternoon, in that she has seen in the last few weeks more of my darker, depressive side than my goofy, upbeat side. And, the fact of the matter is, when i'm doing well, I don't need this outlet. I was doing pretty bad earlier today, and yesterday, and a good part of this week in general.

I'm doing better, though, and I thought it'd be worth letting you all in on. I went home yesterday, and as I was leaving to come back to school, my two-year old sister, Emily, said, "Andy, I miss you." -smiles- Today, I hung out with Aaron, my good buddy from last year, and helped Rose with her programming homework. I wrote up a program in C which I've never written in before and had only a few troubles with it. My little cousin Molly told me she loved me, I got an email from Suzannah, got a call from Claire, and chatted with Nifer, to whom I just recently confessed a great amount of admiration.

So, yes, I'm doing well. I get lonely, and tired, and sick of hurting, but as I always say, I'm never as bad off as I seem, and I mean it.

I cried today. Hones-to-God tears. It was good.
