Season = Winter
You're Most Like The Season Winter ...

You're often depicted as the cold, distant season.
But you're incredibly intelligent, mature and
Independant. You have an air of power around
you - and that can sometimes scare people off.
You're complex, and get hurt easily - so you
rarely let people in if you can help it. You
can be somewhat of a loner, but just as easily
you could be the leader of many. You Tend to be
negative, and hard to relate to, but you give
off a relaxed image despite being insecure -
and secretly many people long to be like you,
not knowing how deep the Winter season really
is. Well done... You're the most inspirational of
seasons :)

I think Autumn would have been a closer fit:

You're Most Like The Season Autumn ... You're warm, and the most approachable. You have that gentle prescence about you. People can relate to you, and find you easy company. However it's likely you've been hurt in the past and it has left you scarred so things can become rather chilly with you at times. Being the third Season in, you're mature, trustworthy and loyal to your friends but prone to depression and negative thinking. Well done... You're the shy and sensitive season :)

You know, they have a flaw in their system: Winter is actually the first season. Its a common misconception that it is the last, simply because of December's placement at the end of the calander. Of course, I guess, in order to be perfectly accurate, Winter is the first and the last season.

By the by, this comment is not spurred on by anything said in the Winter text, but rather by Autumn's claim as being the "third Season in," which would imply that Spring is the first and Winter the last.

A Refutation

Ah, but you, my dear brother, are likewise in Error. That is, you fail to realize that the seasons are cyclic, and are at best indistinct in their transitions. Additionally, your ordering of the seasons is based on the arbitrary mode of measuring Time which is our calendar (which itself has changed shifts and phases several times between aeons and cultures), and is further distored by your own geographical bias -- note that when it is summer here, it is winter in Australia. Furthermore, starting the cycle at Spring and ending in Winter has a strong basis in the classic and familiar cycle of Birth and Death. Therefore, it is a much more solid ordering on the seasons.
