Another lonely night without you...

Sad tonight. Lonely.
Spent the afternoon/evening over at Louis's. Played Bust-a-Move and You Don't Know Jack. That was cool. Watched Desperado. It was OK, for a gratuitous Action flick. His mom's really cool. Christine was in, she's always entertaining. Louis's family is just... interesting, all around.

Talked with Emily C. A little bit. She said something about rain, or cold, or night only being good if you had someone to snuggle with...
And I sit here, thinking, "she wouldn't want me."

It's another of those nights that I just want to cry.

You sell yourself too short, Andrew. Maybe she said that in order to hint at something to you. And even if she meant nothing by it, and she wouldn't want you, that doesn't mean it's the end. You like her sister...and there are opportunities everywhere. If one girl doesn't care for you, that just means you've yet to find the right one, I think. Don't get downhearted.

"Desperado" only earned an "okay" in your book? Whyfor?

Sun don't shine, Wind Don't blow, Rachel don't worry, and Andrew don't get downhearted...

Desperado. Meh, it was a decent movie, Bendaras had some really cool parts, and the early gun scenes were cool. The 'love' scene was very... artsy... and the gun fight with his two buddies...? Completely gratuitous, completely pointless, they both showed up just to die, and, come on, a rocket lancher? -shakes head- that was just wrong...
Not a bad movie, per se, and I like the concept behind it alot, but the movie itself... on a scale of 1 to 10 (ten, of course, being the best), it would get a 6 tops, and I'd be more inclined to give it a 4 or 5.

Nice ending, though, what with the Guy being the dude, the 'final shooting,' and the hotel... "I will." But then they threw in that Jeep scene, where they just should have left it at him walking away.

So, yeah, that's why.

Ah, so it was a bit over-the-top in places...I thought all of that was wicked cool. El Mariachi is probably the sexiest action hero since Indiana Jones.
