Randomly, a few things to say...

Curtis, Chris, and I went out to the mall yesterday to get Soul Calibur 2 for PS2, though for some reason they plan on exchaning it for the GameCube version within two weeks; we just don't have our GameCube yet. I donno, I used to be a huge Nintendo fanboy, but they've recently really soured me, and I can't say exactly why. Curtis thinks they have great first-party games (ie, those made for Nintendo, by Nintendo). I would tend to disagree. -shrugs- I'm becoming more of a PS fan, now.
I ended up buying GTA3 from Chris, and picking up Bloody Roar 3 from EB. Now I need to get a PS2, for when I move out...
Seeing Leslie and Louis this weekend. Need to call and reserve that room at the Holiday Inn... Plan is, I believe, to have sushi and such Friday Night. w00+ I hope things go over well. Louis and Leslie are both buddies of mine who, when I see them, I get along great with them, but while separated, we seem to become really distant... -shrugs-
Also, apparently Ms. Becky C. is living at home for college, which means that she'll be around while I'm down there, contrary to what I'd thought. I was planning on stopping by their house while I was in the area anyways, but now I'll have to see if maybe I can't get some piece of time to spend with her...
Jenny (my sister) wants me to visit her, too, and I'd like to visit her as well. She works all weekend at Busch Gardens, but she says she has two free tickets to the park, and I could bring someone along and hang out there most of the day. I'm thinking I wanna see about heading down that way next weekend, and it'll prolly be one of my brothers I go with... Anyone else that I'd want to spend a day with, well, it could get awkward...
I had most of a banana for breakfast today. That's more than most mornings. I had wanted to make a real-type sandwich and grab some iced tea before heading out, but my over-night virus scan found a trojan on my system, and that's not good. I ran out of time before I had to leave for work, but I should be able to finish running the cleaning tool when I get home...
And as a final note, one of the communities I'm on posted a link to this Presidential Candidate Selector, which I found moderately useful/interesting. I'd actually be interested to see what candidates those who read my journal would be most inclined to support (that means, fill out the form and leave a comment to let me know what you got). 'Oddly' enough, my number one candidate (at 100%) was G.W. Bush. Go figure.

Date: 2003-09-02 11:29 am (UTC)On that Presidential candidate thing, I got Governor Dean Howard, a Democrat from Vermont 100%. I've never heard of this guy, but reading a little about him on the info page, I tend to agree with a lot of what he says. Aside from party affiliation (I don't tend to like Democrats or Republicans very much), what he claims to support and what his voting record shows him to support sound all right by me.

So do we, here at my apartment!
Nightmare's still my No. 1 favoritbut a couple of the smaller, faster ladies (who's names escape me at the moment) are also really cool.

Date: 2003-09-03 11:02 am (UTC)And, y'know, I can't really say I have anything against Cassandra/Sophita. in truth, I think the fact that she's Greek/Roman gives her brownie points. I don't think she's much my fighting style, but...
Now, Xianmina or whoever she is, she needs to die.
We will play, yes'm. And I'm thinking of bringing down Bloody Roar 3, too, as I wanna see what it's like and such.

Date: 2003-09-03 01:45 pm (UTC)A-hem. I guess I need not say that I absolutely kick Smurf with Sueng-Mina.

Date: 2003-09-03 03:27 pm (UTC)I think maybe he means Xianhua. She's an annoying biznitch in part 2.

Date: 2003-09-03 03:30 pm (UTC)Nope. Being Greek doesn't give those bitches nothin'. There are cool Greek people and then there are Greek people who suck, and Sophitia and her little sister are most definitely in the latter category. They put hands on face and say "Oh, woe is me, I suck."
I'm gonna assume that by Xianmina, you mean Xianhua. Right? Chick with the sword who says annoying crap?

Date: 2003-09-03 03:53 pm (UTC)-laughs- Hey, I like greeks. -shrugs- No, I don't think I can say I really have anything against Sophitia or... uhm... The Other Girl Who's Name Escapes me. -shrugs- Like I said, i wouldn't play them, but...
And, actually, Taki's not that bad. She's a little... below my tates, generally, but she helped me own Curtis' Xianghua when he found that Nighmare hates cheese... ¬_¬ And I actually have a little respect for Maxi (who sucks with range, but moves pretty fast) and Astaroth (who, aside from being a Nightmare Wannabe, has a pretty cool name, and some devastatingly hard-hitting range). But then, that's just me.

Date: 2003-09-04 10:57 am (UTC)You know I speak Japanese, and thus what she says in Japanese, being the same as what she says in English, is still annoying as crap, yes?

Date: 2003-09-04 12:54 pm (UTC)Actually, no, that never occurred to me!
I'm so very sorry. I guess there ARE benefits to being linguistically blind, eh?
It also never occurred to me that they would actually dub the same words. I suppose it's more feasible in a Video Game than in Anime and Movies, which I'm used to.
