So, right, I finally got a few things done online yesterday -- ordered checks, messed around with my bank accounts, that sorta stuff that always has t'get done, but never does. I still haven't gotten around to reading my full Inkblot results, and some script of another (I'm pretty sure) isn't letting me save it to a file. I'll have to do some creative cut-and-pasting or something. I may do a post on it when I finally do.

The house was nigh-empty last night. Tim and Greg were staying over at Tina's, my dad's in Eruope for the week, and my mom took the girls with her to drop Jenny's kids off. So, from about 5:00 until, oh, 11:00 I suppose, it was just me, Gene, and Josh. There was a special at the pizza place, so we got three medium pizzas for dinner -- Josh got Pepperoni and Sausage, Gene got just Pepperoni, and I got Pepperoni and Black Olives (pepperoni's the topping of choice at our house). I ate half of mine for dinner last night (I was oddly without hunger), and so I'm earting the rest of it for lunch today.

I also woke up before my alarm today, though I was up later than usual last night. I was awake before 6:00 because, at 5:45, I heard my brother turn off the computer. Unless I'm mistaken, he was up on the box writing mods for Morrowind the whole time I was sleeping. He's really gotta stop that, and I've really gotta stop letting him.

And now for a bit of Geek.
I like my code the way I like my fish: Raw. Or grilled in a nice garlic-butter sause, with a little lemon. I can't really stand editors. Some are better than others -- case in point, JBuilder for Java, or even Microsoft's Visual Studio.net. I must confess that the color-coding makes certain structures easier to recognize. But most editors just feel wrong -- and the more 'user-friendly' they are, the less I like it. Frontpage, to take an example, has always annoyed me. I think it's mostly because I don't like the limited control over my actual code that some editors give you. If I have to write something, be it html, java, or what have you, I pull up my favorite tool in the world -- Notepad.

Notepad's just nice and simple. You write up the code - be it php, java, htm, or anything else - save it under the correct extention, and run it.

I had more to say, but I went to do work, and I've lost my train of thought. Oh well.
