jackofallgeeksHim: See, you're just like Brian. I can't stand it. i'm sick of people making excuses for pretty girls. She's a ditz and a slut, and if you say anything else, i'm going to expect a good explaination.
Me: (Or rather, what I should have said.) Ok, yes, she's pretty. But that's not to say I'm interested in her. If you want a motivation for defending her, it's because she's my friend. And the fact of the matter is, she can be intelligent, when she wants. I've had some very smart-type conversations with her, and you just don't want to accept that there could be more there than what you see.
He's a cool guy, but his cynicism is vexing.
