Highschool Meme
Feb. 28th, 2006 04:53 pmAnd now, a meme about high school. I stole it from
surichan
Who was your best friend(s)?: You know, I don't know. I think Leslie and Olivia would be in the running, though. I don't remember anyone else, particularly.
Who did you have a crush on?: Jean K. And later, Emily C. And Katrina T. And Becky C., and Hannah H., and Becky B., and Esperanza H. and... Well, let's just say I had a few crushes now and again.
What sports did you play?: Soccer and, for a while, Cross Country.
What kind of car did you drive?: When the time came, an old maroon Chrysler La Baron; dubbed 'Christine' when it tried to kill my friend Leslie. :p
It's Friday night, where were you at?: Uhm, Fridays? I think I worked most fridays, actually, but I could be wrong.
Were you a party animal?: Ha ha. Ha. Hahaha. No.
Were you in the "In Crowd"?: Not as I'm aware, but it's an odd sort of thing to determine, looking back. I think I was fairly popular in the circles I traveled, but I don't think I was ever one of the 'popular kids.'
Ever skip school?: There were certain disadvantages to being home-schooled...
Ever smoke?: Not in high school.
Were you a nerd?: Yeah, probably. I've always been something of a geek, but I don't think i've ever been particularly 'socially awkward.'
Did you get suspended/expelled?: Nope.
Can you sing the Alma Mater?: I'm not sure we had one...
Who was your favorite teacher?: Home-schooling had its perks, too. Though, I have to say, I liked Mrs. Baker, from what I remember.
Favorite class?: Erm, I can't really remember what courses I took in high school...
What was your schools full name?: "Catholic High School" (creative, ne?) for freshman year, "Seton Home Study School" after that. The former has recently be 'renamed' to "Bishop Something-something Catholic High School," but I'm fairly certain that's new.
What year did you graduate?: 2001.
School mascot?: CHS had a Paladin. Seton, uhm, didn't.
Did you go to Prom?: Yes, mine and others. When all's told, I think I went to four or five proms...
What did you do after prom?: Which one? The first I just took my date home, I think, after maybe getting ice cream or something; it was a home school prom thing, and we were only 14 or 15. Another time, my date and I *cough* spent some quality time together before going into this 'after-prom' party thing that the school put up. And another time me and my date hung out with some of her friends back at her place.
Where did you work?: The Chesapeake Bagel Bakery. Where I met Stephanie H., the girl I should have dated but didn't because I was retarded.
If you could, would you go back and do it over again?: Having been there and experienced it, would I go back to relive it the way it's already played out? No. I don't think I'd ever want to be 14 again. Fun times, but past. Would I go back to have a second shot at things, being wiser now than I was then? Well, I think I'd know better who to pine for and not, and I'd probably make a few better choices in the short term, but... "if anything were different, everything would be different," and I rather like who I am, so probably not.
What was your class motto?: Didn't have one, as I can recall.
Class song?: Definitely didn't have one.
