I and my Anabel Lee
Mar. 29th, 2005 09:18 amSo, I'm back in DC after being up at my cousin's for the last four or five days. It was really great to be up there; I felt good in a way that I haven't felt in a considerable time. Good in a way that I can't adequately express. It was like a taste of happy.
While I was there, we watched 'Saw', 'The Notebook', and 'Constantine', all of which I generally liked, though they all seemed to be just a little bit predictable. And Constantine seemed self-contradictory at points (see: 'We're finger puppets to them' vs 'no direct intervention' and others). To take another line from a friend, good 'popcorn movies', but nothing spectacular. Almost saw '28 Days Later', but didn't know we had it until too late.
Now I'm back in DC, and feeling a bit sick, though I think it's mostly psychological. I called out of work, but I have every intention of spending the day working on what I can get done for Senior Design. I also have to meet with one of my teacher's at a little after 3:00. We'll see how it all goes.
