After much study, I think I have a basic enough grasp of Duns Scotus' theory of universals and individuation to write a sketchy paper comparinig it with general theories of tropes, bundles, and subject-attribute universals and individation. I need to write roughly five pages with my thoughts on the subject before Friday morning -- which means before Thursday morning, as I have plans for most of Thursday night, which in turn itself means Wednesday Evening, as I have my first of four exams Thursday morning. But, my confidence in my ability to accomplish this task is increasing.
While we're on the subject, though, anyone who might have anything to say on what the general theories of Tropes, Bundles, or Substance-Attribute say (or even thoughts on Duns Scotus' theory, if you are so bold) would certainly be welcome.
