So, right, let's see... Friday was pretty standard, for the most part. Class wasn't cancelled, unfortunately, though I think we had some miserable weather conditions... I can't really remember...

Anastasiya and I had an argument over whether or not she would be coming down this weekend, but in the end she decided to come after all. She didn't get in until late, but we still had time to watch stupid-type Cartoon Network cartoons (my roomies love that sheit), play some MtG, and then go out for a late-night walk in the fog with her. I was in one of those semi-dark moods, and so I just wanted to get out of the room, and it gave us a chance to talk. And I so do love walking through the night.

Saturday we got up around noon or so, as we were all up until at least 4:00 (except Curtis, who had work at 10:00), and after a call down to Home to see if Josh was gonna go, we left for a Darksteel draft tournament at a cardshop near my house. Read more... )

Sunday morning was another slow one, as we ended up watching Legend, which I think I actually have seen before. Needless to say, I liked GothLily more than PrincessLily, and apparently Tim Curry plays The Devil well (he had some really awsome lines, if you listened to him). Anyways, we got up, ate, worked on a couple decks for Anastasiya, and then it was time for me to take her back up to Baltimore. After that, Zach and Curtis wanted me to take them to WotC, but they close at 6:00 on Sundays, and I wasn't back until nearly 5:45... So I played some Kotor, did some homework, and get in bed.

And now, as Annie has yet to break my code, I'm going to see if I can't get some writing done, maybe.

Oh, right -- On Saturday, I got an email from Miss Suzannah, though I didn't get around to reading it until Sunday evening. Anyways, it was nice -- we were discussing, for some reason, Dido's "White Flag" (she brought it up), and that's now turned to what it means for something to be 'Tragic.' I can't easily articulate what it means for me (which is why I use the term 'tragic,' to express a concept not easily expressed otherwise), but it seems to be something more than her classical-greek definition of "a character of near-superhuman virtue suffering because of some fatal flaw." Or something.

But that's not really the point. The Point )

Oh, and I'm feeling more like me again. I think. I was kinda in a funk or something the last couple of weeks -- male PMS, Claire says. -grins- But yeah, I donno, I can't even explain how or why I we feeling out of sorts, I just was. But as of Sunday sometime, I was just feeling better. I saw a whole bunch of people at Mass last night -- Meg and Renee and Christina and Desi and Nina and such. It was cool, but I was feeling better even before that. -shrugs-

Anyways, now I'm trying to get some writing done, but it's not really coming. We'll see what I can puzzle out... I know how I want this scene to end, and kind of how I want the next one to be, it's just the getting the insides written in that's blocking me. Whee.
