The Show Will Go On
Apr. 5th, 2003 02:09 amWell, as I said just below, Becky and Meg were getting a make over ALL DAY. But, since we're not telling Meredith about this, I couldn't go into it. tonight was the 'Reveal' part of the show, where they show us what they did to the lovely ladies. Jim and I didn't have our dates with us because they were waiting at the dance. We were getting there and getting in about an hour and a half before the dance started so we could do the filming. It was really coopl for Jim, I think, that I was there, because he didn't know any of these people, at all (he'd spent an evening with Meg and Becky last night) and I knew them all, so seeing as me and Jim are a bit buddy-buddy, he wasn't all alone and awkward.
I won't say anything, just cause if you watch it I don't wanna ruin things for you -- like I know any of you really care. But wow, they looked great. Meg was really different - like, really, and in a good way. But, while Becky assured me I wouldn't get interviewed, this was not the case. They got me once before hand and then again, afterwards with Becky. I assure you all, I thoroughly made a fool of myself on soon-to-be national television. But hey, that's half the fun. What are the odds I'll ever meet anyone who watches it....?
Anyways, it's going to air sometime this fall, round-about September. We don't have the date yet, but Becky's going to get a call before hand, and she'll let me know. Apparently, they're going to add bloopers to the credits this semester, so we'll get to see Becky and Meg making fools of themselves, too. w00+ and you'll get to see some of the coolest people I know, Carrie and D and Brookie and John and Katie and.... it's been a grand night.
