^_^ Beth mentioned me on her journal.
Not only that, but she said my attempts at writting inspired her to post a bit of her own. She seems to have taken much more time and effort on her works than I have on mine. I'm planning on refining my Snippets and fleshing them out. Really, I am.

-_- And the picture on Megan's journal is very distracting.

Driving Trevor and Rose to the Airport this afternoon. They're going to a Notre Dame game this weekend, or something. Then I plan on getting my haircut, depositing my paycheck, and setting everything straight with my bank account. I suppose it's a good thing I have overdraft protection...

And then tonight, The House is sponsering a trip to Laser Tag, and I'm going t'go along. Amanda's gonna pick me up from my room after dinner, I suppose. Wrote an E-mail to my parents last night - I really wrote alot, considering I had nothing to talk about.

And on Tuesday I'm going on my trek to Ohio. Hopefully I get the TripTick Joe (Rachel's dad) sent in the mail before then. Whee.

Summit

Sweat ran down his brow, stinging his eyes. His hands were raw and his muscles burned from exertion; his strength was fading, the long climb taking it's toll on his battered body. He reached the final ledge and, with monumental effort, pulled himself up and over, laying there for a moment to catch his breath. He dragged himself onto his hands and knees and lifted his head - his entire world changing in that instant. Where it had been cold stone and pain for so long, it was not all a vast expanse of soft blue. The gentle sun caressed him, warming his tired body. He stood up, the wind whirling around him, whipping his dusty blond hair. He felt weightless, standing at the precipice, high above the tapestry of green and brown. This was home.

In other news, if anyone can find me pictures of Vash the Stampede that would make for either a good 'Shocked' or 'Saddness' Icon, please let me know. I've foung those are two emotions wholly unaccounted for.
