Thank you ever so much, Claire, for mentioning StarCraft to me. You kept me up until 2:00 playing that.

Granted, I'm usually up till 2:00 anyways, but....

Heeeeeeee, StarCraft....

I got up today at about 9:30 for my class at 10:00. I didn't want to. But I did. Went to Physics and was bored to tears - almost fell asleep, I think. It's not that it wasn't interesting (well, OK, it was) but I really wasn't interested. They haven't gotten tests back to us, though, so I feel a little better about missing Monday (and a little worse about going t'day).

Came back here at 11:00, played half an hour of StarCraft (I just needed a hit before beginning the day) then went to Lunch. Ate with Jack, as per usual, and generally had a decent meal. Then went to Calc at 12, which was marginally more interesting than Physics - we're doing exponential growth and decay, which is like 6th grade stuff. It's not so bad, though. Went to CAE Tools after that, but no one was there, so I left. It was either cancelled, or I skipped. ::shrugs::

Got back here at about 1-ish, checked my mail, replied to a letter, and then settled down to play a few hours of StarCraft. I just killed of a couple Cerebrates with Zeratul, and next is the final stand against the Overmind. And then I'm ready to start in on the Expansion - Brood Wars. Yes! ^_^

Another telemarketer person called up t'day, but this time it was a guy on the line, saying they wanted to send me some Visa stuff or whatnot. I'm too nice to these people. I kindly put up with him and answered his questions. Then I went back to StarCraft. It really is amazing what a set of six fully-loaded Protoss Carriers can do. Gotta love those robotic Interceptors. Zerg never knew what hit 'em (especially since I had an Arbiter covering them). Oh how I can't wait till I get the Corsairs from the Expansion Set. I will RULE the sky. ^_^ And those lovely Dark Archons..... ^_^

...And says that she and Katie need me to drive them to Blockbuster so they can return their movies - Brooklyn didn't want to take the Metro. Since I had to get out that way myself to return MY video (and I didn't want to go myself, I was definitely up for it.

We went to my Blockbuster first, off of P and 17th. Nothing eventful happened, other than the typical craziness that goes on in this city. Dam DC drivers. Brookie ran my movie down, then we headed out. However, Katie and Brooklyn didn't know where they were going. - Right down South Capitol, you can't miss it. Getting to South Capitol from P and 17th was a trip in itself, involving going down 18th, which suddenly stops about 1/2 way down, turning onto some State Street (I hate those), driving the wrong way back up a one-way street, and finally crossing over the Highway to get to it. But we found it. Now just keep going down, right?

Right. We went down South Capitol. All the way down. So far down that at one point it looked to be a 2 lane highway. We stopped at a gas station, ands they had no idea where what we were looking for was. Katie's sure we were in Virginia Somewhere. We prolly were. So we turned around and went back to DC.

Brookie, who had shotgun, wanted to ask someone else for directions, cause we were somewhere, we just didn't know where. So she rolls the window down at the stop light and says "Excuse me, miss.." And the lady next to us gives her a look like "You did NOT just say something to me." And then ignored us. I smoked her when the light went green. Finally, we pulled up to a McDonald's to ask, but Brookie suggested we ask the Drive Through. ^_^ So we did. The lady there was a lot nicer than I expected, and she helped us out enough to get us in the right direction.

Sadly, thanks to the chaos that is DC, I took a wrong turn and we got pseudo-lost again. Brookie took it upon herself to ask a cop next to us, why asked us to pull over, cause he had to call in to find out where we were talking about. ^_^ Turns out we just had to keep going straight - we couldn't miss it. But it was off Penn. Ave, not South Capitol.

We FINALLY got there, and then headed back to School. again, it was a little trip heading back to North Capitol, but I knew where I was going, so it was all good. And once I'm on North Capitol, I'm as good as home.

The scary thing about this whole ordeal is, I think I'm beginning to understand DC. Weird....
