T'day was generally pretty good. I went out to my aunt's house for dinner, where my Family was coming in to. ^_^ They got in at about 7:00 and we just had a great time. I love my brothers. it's great, y'know, when you see someone and it's like no time has passed. I have that with my brothers, and a few of my other friends. It was great. Dad was joking about how moving back was a bad idea -- the combination of me with my brothers is just too much. ^_^ Lord, but was it good t'see them again.
Sadly, I came back to find that Jim, Meg, and Becky had been waiting up for me. >_< The four of us are going as a group to the dance t'morrow, and Jim had wanted us to get t'gether after 9:00 and hang out. I told him that my family was coming in, but that I'd love t'hang out. But when they told me they were getting in at 7:00... Well, lines of communication got crossed, or something, and my message to Jim never got to him. Trevor says he and Brookie tried calling me, but my phone was on the whole time, and I never got a call. And no one left voice mails, either... *wince* That's kinda taken me down a notch. I hate letting my friends down.
And on a final low note... My friend, Amanda's in a tough spot. First off, she's in a place where she doesn't belong. I imagine, sometimes, that the whole world is against me, but with her where she is, that's not far from the truth. on top of that, a good friend of hers just died. Like, two days, seizure, coma, death. That's harsh. She's really broken up about it, but even on top of THAT, she's having issues with her parents. She's a beautiful, intelligent, independant girl, and her parents refuse to acknowledge her as a person. As anything more than a child. And I can tell that she wants to have faith in her parents, but all her recent experience with them... Well, it's not making it easy on her, and so that's eating her, too. So, yeah... I guess I would ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers, as well as her friend, Mike, and his family.
Things will be OK in the end.
If they're not OK, it's not the end.
