jackofallgeeksWow, alot has happened today, most of it in the last four hours. Let me try and capture it while I can.
I got up but skipped class. I could give a hundred excuses, but there's really no point. I should have gone and I didn't. I did, however, get some laundry done, and that was good. The benefit to wearing almost-exclusively dark colors is you can do most of you laundry in one load. For the record, though, I wore a red shirt t'day.
Had work today, which was insanely easy. I answered the phone thrice and spent the rest of the time reading the Breadbox editions of TTT, Harry Potter 1 and Spiderman. I got some stuff out in the mail -- I anticipate they'll reach their Final Destination by Saturday. Maybe.
My last class was cancelled today -- there's speculation Abe was fired. I know that's necessarily what would happen if my complaints were ever taken seriously, but I'd still feel bad if he lost his job. I had no part in it, but it's still not cool for him. Even if he can't tie his own shoes.
Got back and chatted a bit with Amanda -- about her period. Well, not exactly HER period, but periods in general. I must say it was quite... enlightening. There's really alot I didn't know -- duh, me being a guy, but... I was actually really interested.
I also got a call from Claire. -dances- It was great to hear from her again. We chatted for about half an hour, though I was having a hell of a time remembering what I've been up to. We made our plans to get together when she comes up here on the 8th. She's going to be busy until 12 or 1 or so, and she wants to head home before 4, but we'll get a couple hours to sit and chat and have lunch, presumably. It'll be good to see her again.
Had a good LJ-chat with Leslie about some politics or something, and then chatted with Nifer for the first time in a while. We got to talking about Religion, which is always fun with her. On both accounts, I think we disagree on a nukber of points, but agree on the general principles of things. All in all, with Amanda, Claire, Nifer, and Leslie, I feel infinately better just being able to reconnect with some dear friends.
And I guess that's that. I wanted to make a couple MtG decks. Maybe I'll do that now.
Update [22:12]: Well, folks, we'll do this quick -- I told Amanda that I liked her, and the whole time my intent was to see if maybe we could get together. I was GOING to save this for when we got to see eachother later in the month, but she called me dense because I "wasn't picking up" on the fact that she liked me. Anyways, she said she'd known, but was afraid she was just amusing herself. And, so, yeah... I'm all giggly and giddy and stuff right now. ^_^;;
