The Endless Spiral Begins Again

Have you ever not said something, publicly or privately, because you "know" how people will react to it, and that's not what you want? As an example, you intended to make a comment on this or that, but you didn't because you were sure that people would feel sorry for you, and that's really not what you want?
Maybe it's an obscure concept, but I've been told that I'd be hard pressed to find something everyone hasn't felt before. I THINK this is how I feel, but i'm not sure. You see, I'd intended to make this post about an hour ago, but I was determined to get my English reading done. Now, I remember the intent, but not the cause. In any case, it's an interesting point to ponder.
In other news, there has been word from Emily. Not much - she got online earlier and, when I said hi, she responded. Granted, it was simply to say she couldn't talk, nothing for even me to get excited about, but it was the first time in months I've heard anything from her side of the world, so I'm at least mildly contented.
Maybe it's me, but I almost get the feeling she's reading this. Though, that would nessisarily mean she's gotten the letter. *shrugs* In the end, I'm wont to say, all things are for the best.
If anyone cared to check my Away Message on Wednesday, you would have seen, in bold red, "Hell Day." That's because, on Wednesdays, I have a 9-10 class, then a 10-11 class, a 12-1 class, and a 1-4 class. So I should pretty much be in school from 9 until 4! That equates with a Highschooler, who's there from 8-3 (at least, where I come from). That ROYALLY SUCKS!
Ah, but all is not lost. Turns out that my 1-4 class isn't as bad as it at first appeared. It's all computer graphics type stuff, and it turns out we're really gonna only have class every other week, and we're rarely go the full time. Of course, that all remains to be seen, but it's better than a Realschool Schedual. *shudders*
Got a call from Sara Buckley of all people. ^_^ Much was the happies - I haven't heard from the girl in forever. As a little background info, me and Sara have 'known' eachother since 6th grade, and have been friends at least since 9th. Technically, shecould also be called the root cause of my nephew (well, not the ROOT cause - we all know who they were), but it's vague and undefined.
Anyways, she just now started college and already she's not getting along with her room mate, not getting along with her parents (did she ever?), not getting along with her Ex, and I don't know how she's doing with her Sisters. Amanda's gonna be a Freshman next year. O-O I'm gasped and amazed.
So, me and Sara talked some, and it was cool. She said she couldn't get in touch with Leslie, and so I suggested the three of us try getting t'gether sometime. I'd love t'see ol'Searching again.
Let me see... Lauren, my friend upstairs is moving out. *sadness* Lucky for her, she's getting away from her oh-so-incompatable room mate and getting into a dorm with all her friends. On the bright side for me, she said that she'll still have dinner with me. ^_^ No, peoples, this is not *another* romantic interest - I can have "just friends" you know. Even if she is cute.... She's friends with Katie Convey (my sister's friend, and mine as well I like to think) and went to highschool with Katie Lapp and my cousin, Kiki, and she knows Louis (who also went to that school).
Three of my friends aren't here this semester - Gordon, Hillary, and Liz. Gordon had sudden money problems, Hillary felt it wasn't for her, and Liz...well, I really don't know WHAT happened with Liz, but she's no longer with us. Mayhaps I'll ask her.
On the plus side, Aaron has moved onto campus and no longer comutes or lives with his mom. Me and him were talking today and think we might try to start a "Gamers Guild" on campus. He wants to find Computer Geeks, and I need role players, so we're more or less aiming at the same crowd.
I must say here that I absolutely love the song "Lucky" by Seven Mary Three. So ironically unsuited, and yet perfectly fitting.
And, as a final note...

Take the Corporate Mascot Test at Willaston's Lounge!
I'll never get tired of these (yes, that was supposed to be a bad pun).
