What would you think of me now,

so lucky, so strong, so proud?
So, yeah, today's been pretty good. The past few days I've been kinda homesick -- lonely without my friends and such. It got so bad that I haven't been real hungry the past few days, that should say something to all of you.
Anyways, I think I ended up sleeping until 11:00 again. I got up and putz around for a bit - I wasn't interested in doing much. tried writing, but that didn't happen. Read some LJ and made replies. Then Claire came on, and we chatted a bit about stuff, including DnD a bit, and it was cool. I also gotta see Leslie, and she tried enlightening me a bit on Nabokov (sp?), but I'm afraid my brain wasn't prepared for it all. I should really stretch before that kind of exertion.
A little bit later, Ben jumps on and throws a random screen name at me and is like "Here she comes! She's getting on!" or something. Needless to say, RandomScreenName gets on, and we start talking -- turns out it was Kim from Nekocon. So we chatted for a bit, and I actually got to flirt some, which was refreshing beyond explaination. ^_^;; She asked if I was going to Katsu (and much as I'd like to, I don't think I have the cash), and she said that she liked my Leather Pants. -GRINS- Leslie, I don't think I can thank you enough, yes? Then we talked about Cosplaying, and other non-anime general stuff It was cool.
Later than that, Olivia and Liz got on, and I gotta talk with each of them. Oli pointed out that Liz had quoted me in her Profile, and Liz and I chatted about a bunch of little things, from power tools to Playskool. It was fun. Oli even quoted me on her Profile before things were done:
Andrew: There are plenty fish in the sea, even if you can't see how that's pertinent to dating.
Oli: fish -- they ALL stink!
Andrew: Hey, some of them are pretty good catches.
Andrew: Especially after scaling and gutting them and throwing them over and open flame.
After all this friendly interaction, I was actually hungry for dinner. Yeah.
Afterward I got to talk with Nifer in passing. >_< I wish I coulda seen her this break - she was up from Florida the whole time I was gone. With any luck I'll see her sometime this summer. With more luck she'll be able to afford school in Richmond like she wants.
Anyways, I guess that pretty much covers it. Until next time.

When do you head back east?
So there's these two ducks...
Date: 2003-01-04 12:39 am (UTC)Mind you, I ate anyways. but not much, and I wasn't into it, y'know? ^_^;;
It's amazing what a cute girls saying you look good in Leather Pants can do for you. ^____^
And I'll be heading back to the East Coast on January 11th, the day after Gene turns... 18? Is Gene turning 18 already? Wow, I guess so...

Date: 2003-01-04 08:56 pm (UTC)Oh hey I meant to ask you if you wanted to go. It turns out I don't have to be in wilkes barre that week, and Jamie and Becky offered me crash space. they said bring someone if I can. I still gotta work out the details but the room is 89/night, and they apparently already have like 4 people so it'll be under 20/night plu adminition and food. So long as we stay out of the dealer's room I think would could stretch it :).

Date: 2003-01-05 01:02 am (UTC)I donno, admissions is still going to be High. Probably $40, huh? So then it'd be about $60, total, plus food and gas/metro money.
Of course, I just told Megan that she should blow $1k to go to London with a bunch of her buddies... Yeah, maybe it'd be cool to try and pull off. You only live thrice, after all.

Date: 2003-01-07 02:07 pm (UTC)Aww!!! I'm sorry. ^____^ I likies my Nabokov, though he can be a bit much, I know - I can be a bit much when I start talking about him.
-GRINS- Leslie, I don't think I can thank you enough, yes?
::laughs:: By virtue of the fact that you have been my Setsuna with them, and broke down your own walls enough to dress "like a girl/fag" and wear makeup, jewelry, etc...I'd say you've already thanked me more than enough!!
Badgers? We don't NEED no stinkin' badgers!
Date: 2003-01-07 03:08 pm (UTC)We all have our Fanaticisms. ^__^

Ha! I do believe the only walls I had were those you seemed to imply were there. ^__^ Not something to admit to the kiddies, perhapse, but hell -- if Jack Nicholson can wear make-up, so can I. (But if you ever find me in a skirt, put me out of my misery. ... Unless it's pleated. ^_~ )
