Well, Disneyland was grand. ^_^ We didn't make it out there until nearly 2pm or later on Friday, but after checking into our Hotel, we went to California Adventure (the new Disneyland-addon-thingy) and it was grand. There was the one Coaster, California Screamin' (har har har) which had no lifts -- just this electro-magnetic-thingy (ooo, technical) which sent you off like a bullet. It was great, and I even got mom and Josh to go on (they NEVER go on coasters) and they loved it. We went to a couple other rides (like a ferris wheel and something that shot you straight up 1000 feet) and got some Ice Cream before heading over to Disneyland.

I can't quite recall what we did there that evening, but we got popcorn, and rode on Space Mountain and StarTours (I don't think there's yet been a trip where we DIDN'T go on those two). We also saw the Christmas Parade (I liked the elves. Alot.  ^_^  Expecially that cute blonde one with the Selphie-esque hair. -grin- ) and the Fireworks - we got pretty good seats for those. Emi gave us some pre-showentertainment, too. She'd getten wired from Cotton Candy just before hand (while me and The Boys were on Space Mountain) and spent the time before the show dancing around in the street. It was cute.  ^_^

The next morning I played some Magic with Josh before we got all our stuff packed up, and we got to the Park soon after it opened. We went straight to Dumbo, which has a HUGE line if you don't get it early, and went on that - I went with Beth. It was actually rather entertaining (boku was easily-amused desu). We also got on Alice, Peter Pan, and the Tea Cups before getting FastPasses for Small World and then wasting time in Toon Town. I actually rather enjoy Small World, myself, though I like the original more than the Christmas Version.

Uhm...quickly forgetting everything I had to say... We ended up going on just about EVERY ride in the Park, of course. ^_^ Thunder mountain was boken (again) so we missed that. We waited in line for about 30min for Pirates of the Caribean, but it was cool anyways. The Haunted Mansion was fun, as always, though I much prefer the orginal to the Nightmare Before Christmas thing they do durring this season. After Dinner at Pizza Planet Port, we went back to California Adventure to see the Electric Parade (before which being the time I got mom and Josh on the coaster). The Parade was awsome, and I LOVED the music -- it was 30-year old 'electro-synthe-magnetic' sound, which is just a punch of computer blips and and stuff, but it was SO COOL. I'm too much of a Technophile. I LOVED it! I wanna make music like that. :D

After said parade we went on the Ferris Wheel while Disneyland was firing it's fireworks, then a last ride for Greg before the park closed at 10 and we headed home. The whole weekend was grand. I love spending time with my family. ^__^

(Oh, yes, while at the park we saw some teenagers being really stupid and loud and obnoxious -- and I don't mean cool gofing off stuff, just being a general bother/pain/nuicance. Anyways, dad looked at them, then at us, and said "Where did we go wrong?" and I said "I don't know -- I guess we just don't act our age." Whee.)

And Now For Something Completely Different
"So, I went into Fry's to get the things you boys were getting the little ones, and it was on sale, real cheap. And they were the ones that said CD-R on them, too. So I took them to the front, but the lady said 'Oh, I'm sorry. Those are only one per customer.' So I said 'Well gee, I need two of them.' And she said 'Well, you'll have to come in again to get the other one, but they're really strict about it.' Well, if they're really strict about it, what should it matter if I come in again?"

Yeah, dad got the two of them, but he had to physically leave the store first.  ^_^;;  Fun stuff, people.

So I take it from your "music" these past few posts that you've been watching the "Mononoke Hime" dub? ::grins:: What a fantastic movie. Y'know, I think I like the dub better?

Oh-ho, you forget. My little sisters absolutely love "The Wolf Movie," as they lovingly refer to it. I must say that I'm quite fond of the movie myself, but I brought it back with me as a Christmas treat for them. And, true to form as little children, they've watched it once or twice a day for as long as I've been here. ^__^

I think I do rather enjoy the Dub - the fact that they got some real-name professionals helps, I think. That having been said, though, I think the Sub has a few lines that are better.
