My stomack is doing backflips...

I think a little bit of it had to do with the wine I had with dinner...
Today went passably well. David didn't come in until sometime after 2:00, so Dustin and I got most of a day of free talk. We share alot of common interests, even beyond computers, and get along great. I think he's a Conservative in denial, though -- he says he's registered independent, but he has alot of really Conservative ideas. S'part of why we get along so well.
Us interns also took a long lunchbreak, going up to College Park and getting Chinese Buffet. It was REALLY good, too.
Dad drove home and I took a nap, then played a little Morrowind when we got home. I tried calling Claire, but never got an answer. Sitting online downloading a Typing Tutor from Dustin (I type fast, but I'm a hunt-and-pecker), I bumped into Emily Croft, and we chatted for a while. It was good, because I was really missing my friends at the moment, and the Crofts were my best friends in Highschool. We lost touch a couple years ago, and I really regret that... That's so much I haven't told them about the last two years, but I started to breach that subject this evening... It was good, cause I so want to be good friends with Emily again, but it was also a bit nerve-racking, as I'm still a bit afraid of her...
Andrew: -smiles- Yeah... ^_^;; I feel kinda bad that I've lost touch with you guys as much as I have... I really wish I hadn't. Sometime I'd like t'just sit down with you and tell you about everything that's gone on since so long ago...
Emily: has that much happened?
Andrew: -smiles- Well, yeah, a bit. -shrugs- I feel like there's a good year there that I didn't really get to talk with you and Becky, and... ^_^;; Yeah, some stuff happened.
Emily: stuff that you need to go to confession about?! or just stuff?
Andrew: -laughs- No, no, my dear, I'm still a good little Catholic boy...
It was fun... A little later, after having been called away to clean, I bumped into Claire online. She's home again for the evening, and leaves on a week-long bicycling trip in Ireland t'morrow! Feel the jealousy! And so we chatted for a while, which was good. It's nice to talk with my friends... They help keep me sane, grounded... and, in the end, I'm doing really well. I was a bit lonely before I talked with Emily (and I'm afraid that came through some), but I'm feeling better now. I'm going to be OK.
Oh! And I went to www.SlaveLabor.com and ordered the Squee book, both issues of "i feel sick," and the Hardcover edition of the Johnny the Homicidal Maniac Collection. ^_^ I'm getting me my Jhonen at last! Wheee!
Oh yeah! I also (to keep up with Mrs. Dawn, who now seems quite indisposed) went and set up my new Security Levels on my entries. I opened up ALOT of my old posts to alot of you, and a few posts that were made 'Private' are now also open to a small handful of friends. I strive for openness here, so most all my posts are open to my Friends, if not the General Public. Posts are always open for comments. And stuff.
