...or scared the living daylights outta some poor guy, diligently trying to be productive at work.

If you'll look around my Journal, you'll notice a new face - Gene (not-my-brother) posted a comment on my Pop-Tart post, shocked and confused that I, quote, "Don't Like Breakfast," unquote. I replied to the post, natural as could be, but something kept bugging me. This wasn't my brother reading my journal, was it? I mean, not that there's anything wrong with that - it's not like there's anything in here he SHOULDN'T be reading (cept maybe how I swoon over some of these girls, but I'm sure he gets that anyways).

I was pretty sure that Gene-Not-My-Brother was, uhm, not my brother - mostly as that's an interesting pic, but I don't believe Gene-My-Brother would've chosen it (he'd pick some Videogame icon, I'm sure), along with the fact that ANYONE who knows me has heard at least once that i'm not a big breakfast kinda guy.

But it still bugged me.

So, I followed him back to his journal and was immediately relieved to see the record of a certain Roadtrip. Gene-My-Brother, as we all know, can't yet drive. So I was curious as to who this guy was, and seeing as he'd gotten a LiveJournal anyways, I took that as cue to learn everything I possibly could about him.
(Note to Gene-Not-My-Brother, and anyone else who doesn't quite catch this: this whole post is a mixture of sarcasm and facesciousness - I'm not REALLY stalking you. Some people could take this the wrong way and then I'd have legal suits and weid lookd jumping down my throat. Just not pretty, y'know?)

Anyways, his Bio said very, very little, but he had the longest flipping list of interests I've ever seen. It was huge! Among other things it listed Artcars, Moxie, Robotics, Ghost Busters (ad nausium ^_^*), and the abolishment of "compulsory education." I could rewspect him for the Robotics and Ghost Busters, but I had no idea what an artcar was, and only remembered Moxie as that Dog guy on Cartoon Network way back when. You know, voiced by Bobcat? Yeah, so, anyways. Along with that, it seems he agrees (too a point) with me on Education - it shouldn't be mandatory 9that's what complusory means, I've learned). Now, I don't know why, or how, or when, or what he thinks of the whole concept, but he may just be the oinly one I've ever come across who's on the same line as me with that (though, I'm recently unsure of exactly how I view the situation now).

That was Gene-Not-My-Brother's first and second mistakes. He invited me into his world (ie, replied to my post) and he agreed with me (ie, agreed with me). His third mistake was dreadful. He's on AIM as well, and he made the mistake of being on when I added him to my list (Again, not stalking you, just really bored - I should be taking a nap, but we all know THAT'S a joke...).

So, his name popped up (at a warning level of 8% I might add), and I dropped a question about Compulsory Education and the abolishment there of. He was at work, I appologixed, he said it was cool, and so I preceeded to barrage him with questions, as per your average 8-year old child.

With all other escape roughts blocked off, GNMB craftily said "I've got 7 min to finish this, bye." (not word for word, mind you - he was much more tactful) and signed off.

And so, our story ends. I'm going to crawl back in bed now for 1/2 an hour before I gotta go to dinner. *groan* the pain.
