Bittersweet.
Jun. 9th, 2007 03:14 pmSo, I've got a MySpace (not at all hard to find if you know how to look for me) which I maintain mostly just to find and keep in touch with old friends. I really don't like it over there, I feel unclean anytime I stop by, but sometimes good things come of it.
Today I wandered over there and happened upon a few of my old friends from the very beginning of college some 5 or 6 years ago now; Taryn, Heather, and Kim. Most of you don't know them, Leslie and Louis might have met them once or twice; I met them about the same time I met Claire (maybe a few months later), and we hung out some at Anime Conventions. In fact, I think the last Time I saw Heather (who was the last of the three I saw) was at Anime USA before Junior Year, or something.
Anyways, I sent them some message to say Hi and get back in touch, and they replied and it was all pretty cool. But I'd met them the same time I met Ben.
I don't really know what to say about that. I still think about him sometimes, wander by his MySpace or happen upon his name on my "Manage LJ Friends" page, or scroll by his cell number in my phone. It's a lingering sort of pain.
So, I'm kind of a little sad and heartbroken now.
