Mar. 2nd, 2006 02:02 pmSo, one of the other journals I read occationally puts up storied about abuse of authority, which is a big deal to me: I respect valid authority, and to abuse it is unforgivable. Today he posted This Link.
At first, I was mildly disappointed. Then, I felt disgusted. By the time I got to the bottom, I was simply angry.
I can't find anything else articulate to say.
Addendum: "Simply because a person is given a badge, a gun, and the authority to enforce the law by the state does not make that person a moral agent. Just as there are good and bad people who are plumbers, teachers, and engineers, there are good and bad people who are police officers."
