Update again.
Jul. 19th, 2004 06:18 pmSo, let's see...
Gene came home this weekend for a celebration of Becky's birthday. She'll be 7 at the end of the month. He gave her a finch that he bought of his friend Kate -- Kate had had it at school, against the rules, and as she's going to be an RA next year, she had to find a new home for it 9it's unbecomming of an RA to break the rules). She she sold it to Gene as a gift to Becky. Whee.
Saw Tina, my cousin, at said celebration. that was grand. ^_^ We also played a cool kinda game called CustomRobo on the GameCube. It was interesting, though i don't think Gene appreciated it as much as I did.
We got a new car. She's a beautiful blue Chevy Cavalier, with manual windows and lock, but a CD player that plays my burned CDs -- this means i'm going through another phase of burning mixes. I'm so out of practice. As I told Alison, I want to make a TechnoGoth CD tonight. Not sure what to put on it, though.
I named her, too, the car. I thought I might try to play of her liscence like I did with Aycesis, then I thought I might name her Clarissa, but I've finaly decided on Margaret. She's got those dayglo headlights, you know, the ones that never really turn off, so I could call her Bright Eyes. But most of you wouldn't get that joke.
Talked with Josh earlier tonight. He's afraid of not doing well in his classes, which is ridiculous. He doesn't need to get perfects, and even at that, he's shown he can do just that without much effort. Plus, he's all-but been accepted to school, so it's just a matter of finishing the work. Oh! And I never mentioned -- Josh is going to Christendom next year, which will give me another excuse to make vbisits out there. -laughs- I personally think, since they need to have roomies anyways, Gene and Josh should see about rooming together, but I can understand why they might not want to. -shrugs- It would certainly give them reason to leave the room! -grins-
I'd wanted to try and visit Suzannah again this week, but I'm not sure I'll be able to -- dad needs use of my car for a few days while his is in the shop. it shouldn't interfere with my games on Thursday or Friday, but as Wednesday is the only day I really had fee... -shrugs- We'll see. Maybe I'll still get out that way. and even if not, I supose I might call her... I wouldn't want to be a bother, is all.
This weekend I'm supposed to be trying to make plans to visit Alyce, most probably just for a time on Saturday or something, but she's so very difficult to get in touch with. Louis is also going to be in town for a couple days this weekend, and my little cousin is having an irish-dancing performance this Sunday. I so love irish-dancing. -laughs-
Mmmm, and that's it for the moments being. I guess if I think of anything clever I'll be back around.
School starts at the end of next month. I'm looking forward to it.
