So, my first act this morning, just after waking up at about 7:30, was to empty my stomach, half into the toilet, and half spread generously on the adjacent wall. I think it was just nerves (which is odd, as I don't often get so nervous as to make myself sick), but either way, it was no fun cleaning up. That had rather woken me up, so I thought I'd finish the job and take a shower. So now, at 8:30, I'm showered and such, and have nothing to do until my class at about 11:00. I'm starting to rethink getting up, and may try to lay in bed for a while.

Also, as is wont to happen, I forgot a few things at my parents' -- specifically, my power strip and my laundry bag. Curtis lent me a strip so I could plug in Unicron, but I'll have to pick those up when I go back this weekend...

Today really rocked, over all. Especially considering how poorly the day began (see my earlier post), the rest of the day was just grand (with the very short exception, perhapse, of running to Giant and Sports Authority - I really don’t like feeling as though I'm ferrying people). I think I'm really going to like my classes this semester! Monday-Wednesday-Friday, from 11:00-13:00 is the Philo Hour, with Metaphysics from 11-12 and Logic from 12-13. It looks to be grand. I have Noone for Metaphysics, and he seems like a strange one. He spoke in an odd manner, and I swear that he blinked all of three times in the 50-minute class! It looks like it could really be an interesting course, though:

"Imaginary entities, like hobbits, do not apply to the physical world. Mathematical entities, while imagined, DO apply to physical reality -- you can make bridges and cars and... World Trade buildings... So what ARE numbers? -Noone

Logic with Dr. Doolan should be cool, too. He remembered me! *dances* I'm such a dork. But he remembered who I was, which rocks and stuff. And, of course, the Logic class is going to be based strongly with Aristotle who (for the greatest part) fits closely with my own sense of philosophy. And stuff.

And this evening Curtis, Zack, and I took a trip to WotC so they could pick up Draft Fodder, and we ended up chatting with the guy there for a long while, about everything from the stores closing, to Hasbro being demon-spawn, the The Matrix trilogy and sucky sequels. It was great. They closed at 21:30, but it was easily 21:40 when we got out of there. I love it when sales people are... real people. And stuff.

So, yeah, that was my day. Now I have... well, several chapters to read in my philosophy books, but my only classes t'morrow are at 13:00 and 17:00, so... whee.
