Never is a Very Long Time
Jan. 9th, 2004 12:11 pmIt's snowing outside. Just a little bit.
It took my dad nearly two hours to get into work today; there were accidents all over. They expected a light dusting, so they didn't salt the roads; there's ice everywhere.
We saw Peter Pan last night. I think I liked it. I know I liked it more than the Disney Version. It had a dark turn to it, which I liked. I liked Hook. Tink, though, was irritatingly annoying. Yeah, she's supposed t'be pesky, but I liked the Disney Tink better. She did have a couple good moments, though. All-around, I think it was a good movie. Or something.
It's Friday today. The 9th. Classes start again on the 12th. Three days.
In ways, I can't wait to get back out to school, and into my room, and start my classes... Things around here feel like they're slowly stagnating, and I want to get my life moving again. -smirks- I've been so busy for so long, I can barely tolerate a whole week with nothing to do.
At the same time, though, I'm a little reluctant to go back. Though I really can't say why. Just a general reluctance to have things change, or something, I suppose. It's funny, I think, how much I dislike change. Being a Navy Brat, you'd think I'd be accustomed to it by now. -smirk-
Uhm, other things... Darksteel PreRelease at the end of the month. So is the Butterfly Effect premier... Gene's really interested in seeing that, and so am I -- Time Travel is always an interesting concept to play around with. I might want to see about finding a Theatre out there in Front Royal to go see it with him at... or something...
