Being RoliasNoom (TNN, 4:30): RoliasNoom (Marlene Dietrich)'s office's air conditioning is broken, and photoholic62 (Spike Jonze) shows up to fix it. Meanwhile, jyousgirl (Tony Danza) tries to seduce oceans_of_jade (Cesar Romero) at a deserted mansion. On the other side of town, surichan (James Belushi) gets lost on the way to nif (Hugh Grant)'s house and spends the night in a grocery store. Soon afterwards, starlight1184 (Tommy Lee Jones) accidentally throws away serenabuny (Michael J. Fox)'s slice of cheesecake. Also, themoofreview (Keanu Reeves) tells ladyyuna (Halle Berry) about Scientology. On the other side of town, grandodalisque (Jimmy Smits) gets in trouble with the law when mockette (Monica Bellucci) discusses sneakers with an undercover cop. Hilarity ensues.

Well, I had alot of things to say, but I'm rather at a loss...

Went into work today, and that was cool. I gotta eat up some good code, and they even let me play around with it a little bit. I also took my own code to task in order to make it play nice with the other files, switching out some classes and embedding the MouseListeners into my Corkboard class. It was fun. I also found holes in two implementations that my bosses were doing; they'd each hit a snag and I knew the answers. w00+
I could really end up liking Object-oriented programming...

Later, I got to chat with Claire. Like, we really talked, and that was good. Really good. I was going to post a few bits here, but I sent the wrong file to myself, so the log's still at work. It was good, though, and it reaffirmed our friendship, which I truely cherish. She's a wonderful girl.

Class was OK. On the way to Software Design, there was a HUGE Thunderstorm. Being me, I though, "meh," and trudged out there. I love rain; it was awesome. Software Design was cool, too, cause we're using Linux boxes (actually, Solaris, but they're really the same, ne?), which means alot of command-line stuff. Linux has always intimidated me because I was born and raised on Windows, but I've wanted to get into it, particularly because (a) it's set towards programmers and ComputerGeeks and (2) it's permissions system is SO much better than Windows, and being the semi-paranoid dork I am, I like that. I'm relieved now, though, because going through the commands and stuff, I'm already mostly familiar with it all from my work done in DOS (well, the command console, but again, it might as well be the same). I had something more to say on that...

After I got back to thew room, Chris and Curtis asked if I wanted to go to the Gym with them. Being that the only thing I wanted to do was get dry, warm, and in bed, I said, "Sure." We did some weight lifting, a few machine exercises for our legs, and then running. Oh how I enjoyed the running. I've really missed it. Each of us seemed to have a strength. Chis had UpperBody hands down, where-as Curtis had LowwerBody as his forte, and I had Endurance.
Man, how I've missed running...

Getting back in, I had a pretzel, a sode, a few pickles... I think I may have a PB&J before I go to bed. I didn't really have a solid meal most of the day -- cereal for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch, and then just wasn't that hungry for dinner. T'morrow I think I may make pasta or something for myself, or maybe see if I can use the George Forman and cook up a steak or something... I also talked with Ms Becky Croft, which was nice. It was a really short little chat, as Marcus needed the computer, but it started out like:

Andrew: Hey, Becky.
Ms Croft: hey Andrew
Andrew: Busy much?
Ms Croft: yep....am I ever not busy?
Andrew: -laughs- Well, I don't wanna bother you if you're busy... ^_^;;
Ms Croft: not to busy for you though
Andrew: Hush, you'll make me think I'm important. ^_^;;;
So, yeah, that was nice... I'm thinking, maybe, it'd be nice to see if she wanted to have coffee sometime, or something equally arbitrary. Too bad she lives so far away; that'll be a long drive for coffee.
