Da da da...
Jun. 25th, 2003 08:59 amSo, right. Blah, blah, blah. I should have something to say, but I don't. Or rather, I do, I'm just not sure yet what. Or perhapse how. Or something equially cryptic. I SHOULD be doing woirk, but I'm not. 8:45 and all's clear. Rommel should be showing up within 30 minutes, and then David will probably be in around ten, but I think Dustin's going to show up late -- last night was Dollar-Bud night, after all.
I've actually considered posting about a number of topics. Philosophic topics like I used t'do, or maybe writing up another little snippet or two. I've recently had some inspiration, and it's been oh so long since I actually wrote anything. There's also a few things, philosophic-like, thatr I wanted to touch on, like Faith, Mercy, Justice, and Love, or The Duality of People, or things like that. But, alas, no.
Unicron has almost completed her reconstruction. Encased in black-aluminum and commanding a 17" LCD and 5.1 surroundsound speakers, I almost finished her last night. Except, you know, for the fact that she doesn't know she has a Floppy Drive. I installed Windows, though, and set up my DSL connection, loaded a few programs... Tonight I'm going to watch a movie with her, and maybe start on either Morrowind or Achaea.
I also have to take the remains of what was Unicron and finish converting it over to The Husk. She's only going to have a 20gig hdd, 600mhz processor, 128 RAM, a CD burner, and an Ethernet card. She'll be plenty for Gene t'get started with, though, I just have to make sure to wipe her drives off for him. And what will be my Dad's new computer, UnitZero, still isn't getting power, and I'm not exactly sure why. I think the power-switch connector might be plugged wrong, but if that's not it... -shrugs- Once I get Power into her, though, she should be all-but set to go.
Lord, I love tech-stuff.
I'm sure I had more to say. Maybe I'll get to in in another post.
