Well, today was awsome. I love the Pryz -- I think it improves the community a million-fold. Saw Becky, Brookie, Lynn, Jess, Kat, Ashley, Leslie, Alyce, Becky -- so many people I NEVER see. And they have SUSHI! I can get SUSHI on my MEAL PLAN! w00+
And today was a great day out -- warn but not hot, a cool comfortable breeze, sunny but not bright. As Rachel said, Summer's too hot, Winter's too cold, but Spring and Fall....
Getting fresh air did almost as much good for me as seeing my friends.

Iconoclasm

OK, I have a pseudo-dillema. A long while ago, when I created this Journal, I had three varied Icons -- Hiei, Gendo, and Vash. I switched, momentarily, to a few MtG pictures. Not long after, I suppose, I changed over to a Vash-theme, as we can all tell. I, personally, think Vash fits my personality rather well, and a number of people seem to have the same opinion (*waves* Hi Becky and Mel!).

Recently, though, Ms. Chuu herself made me an awesome Icon, and I thought about changing back to a non-theme again. I spent alot of time looking for pics last night, and Leslie's making me a new Innocent Icon (which I expect I will like muchly). I even got permission to use one of Leslie's pieces for my 'shocked' Icon, which I've wanted for a while.

However, I think I really lose something of my continuity if I kill the theme. Having Vash across the board lends personality, I think, to my Journal, and that personaility is lost if one Icon is Jet Black, another is Gendo, and yet another is Neo-and-Leslie (though, admittedly, I giggle whenever I see that pic...).

So, I ask your opinions (and feel free to comment too):

So, right, we have this project in Operating Systems, right? And it's not a really difficult project, but it's based on a Language we don't know. Imagine being told to write a paper in Russian. But, apparently there IS a way to work it in a language we know, and so when me and Jim we working through it, I thought we were getting somewhere... we had a GUI, and it was working fine in it's own world, so I figured we just needed to hook it up to a few Sockets and a Router and we'd be done -- roughshod, but done. Then we remembered that the whole damn point of this project is to create a message bus, which neither of us know the first place to start with.

For those of you unable to follow, here's the simple version:
I have a project due tomorrow that will not be done.

Yeah, I'm having a wonderful time. I would have dropped this class except for one little point, that being that everyone else is going to fail, too, and if I dropped it now, I'd have to take it next year, anyways, and I'd be in the same possition but without my group.

I think I understand the class, generally, it's not that hard. But I don't feel I'm up to par for the projects, and it's really souring my mood.
-sigh- I should do something...
