Quick Update
Oct. 2nd, 2002 03:43 pmAs I Wait For Class
Wasn't feeling so hot as I got up this morning, but after showering and getting myself over to the 4th floor of McMahon, I felt a little better. My Discrete Proffessor was back - she'd had a 'family crisis' and had to go to India for a week, while Prof. Levin stood in for her. Class went as usual, meaning it wasn't mind numbingly boring, but not all that stimulating, either.
Afterwards, I headed to South, where I grabbed a couple of not-too-bad-looking pieces of pizza and ate with Brookie, Katie, Meg, and Trevor. It's interesting to note here that Brookie's real name is Michele. Trevor hasn't been feeling well the past two days, and this morning he was rewally pale and out-of-it. If he listened to our advice, he skipped his class to lay down (though, for the record, he is not currently in the room).
From Lunch I grabbed the car and went to Bethesda to get what turned out to be about $100 of work done on the car. I also got a Haircut at the Naval Hospital, and picked up Battle Realms, finally, at the NEX. Got back here around 3-ish and parallel parked for the second time in my life - and quite nicely, I might add.
Yeah, maybe I'm a little proud of my driving ability, regardless of if I should be or not.
Class at 5:00, and I think I may take the next 90min to unwind after running around - either by installing said Battle Realms or just laying down on my bed for several long moments.
The bed is looking quite inviting.
Addendum: Last night I wrote an e-mail to Nancy and spoke with Mr. D. I'd like to get back in touch with her, and he was looking for quotes and stuff to write on his wall - that is, he'd covered one wall of his room in black construction paper and had a few friends helping him 'decorate' it, as to compliment the Black Lights he had. Actually sounded kinda neat.
