Something Happened Tuesday Night
Sep. 26th, 2002 01:16 pmSlept well again last night. Got up this morning and, aside for it being a little chilly here in the room, was feeling pretty sharp. The floor was like a Ghost Town as I went off to class - I didn't see anyone, which was unusual.
It's a subdued day out - steely grey clouds, a slight chill, and an almost-imperceptible drizzle. The drops aren't big enough that you would notice them hit your skin, but it's not so light as to be passed off as a fog.
Class was OK, but I was really hurting to stay concentrated on it. Well as my sleep might have been, I suppose maybe I could have used a little more rest. Got to the Dining Hall right as they put out a fresh White Pizza, so I grabbed a couple slices of that and a salad for lunch. Bumped into Aaron on my way back, who's invited me over to his place, Trailor 10, later to check out some games he recently got for his PS2. The first sounds OK, but the other's a joint Square-Disney venture. While I have high regard for Square games, Disney has a habit of defiling all that is good and sacred in the world of fantasy... He also says he has Morrowind, which is that Game I need more RAM to run on my system. Then he mentioned that there might be a D&D group getting started here on Campus, at Millenium North. Now, D&D is no White Wolf, but it is Role-playing. If they'll take me, I'd be up for trying it out (again).
Got back here and burned a couple CDs, and now I'm listening to some songs I got of KaZaA to see if they're worth keeping. After that maybe I'll take an hour or so for a nap before my class at 3:00. And Trevor wants me to take him to some mall out by College Park, but I may get some Magic or cold, hard cash out of the deal, so...
Anyways, I'm off.
