Jun. 11th, 2002 03:06 pmLet's see, I suppose we need another update, yes?
There's really not much to say. Have I mentioned I like our new car? It's a pretty nice lil thing (and the perfect shade of blue) even if it doesn't have automatic anything. It's got air and stuff, though, and a radio, and that's all good.
Was told t'day that I have a job offer thingy. Someone over where my dad works found an opening somewhere and sent an e-mail saying I hadda call a guy to set up an interview. I was rather nevous calling the guy (I don't like phones very much) and really, wasn't sure if I'd rather HE picked up, or I got his voice mail (I hate talking to Answering Machines even more). In the end, his voice mail picked up, and save for a couple awkward stumblings, I think I didn't come off as a total imbicile. Maybe, with some luck, I'll have a job soon. That means money. Money's good stuff.
Additionally, I've been doing alot of reading - particularly on a couple 300-page books based of White Wolf games. It's a series of six books, and I'm nearly done the second one. Sadly, we don't have the third (or fourth, or fifth, or sixth...). We'll have to go out to the mall soon, unless I find something else to read.
Along those lines Josh found a book we've never read around here. It's a psudo-horror book which, oddly enough, is supposed to take place in Virginia Beach, my old stomping grounds.
In other news, The Lil'Ones have been making friends around the neighborhood. One in particular, Micheala (which, BTW, is quite an intweresting name, I think), seems to have taken a liking to Greg. She's also rather fond of lil Emi. Cute kid, all in all.
Haven't yet heard anything from The Twins, but I did hear back from The Gryphster, who's now the big Three-Oh. Poor guy, I wonder what it's like to be over the hill. *fiendish grin*
And that more or less (prolly less, with my luck) sums it up. Oh, and we're supposed t'get our Cable Modem (joy and rapture!) next week. However, we don't know where we're going to put it (with any luck, it'll be in my room, and I'll once again feel 'connected'). Once the computers are networked, though, it'll be a moot point.
Until next time!
