And, sometimes, there is no moon.

So, a while ago, I mentioned a girl here in our program named Carrie. At the time I had only just met her, but it was a really good meeting. She's our Section Leader this Quarter, and she's from Texas, and loves TV and can be really funny. She's a great girl, and she's graduating in December, and we're all going to miss her.

Her boyfriend just broke up with her today. We're all shocked, not the least of all Carrie herself.
I feel really, really bad for her.
And right at the end of her program, too.

Mew.

Spontaneously Content

Tonight, I'm feeling really good about myself.
I got a bunch of work done on my programming project. I got up and went to not-evening mass, and then out to Safeway to finally pick up some spices and vegitables, and more cheesesticks. I made tea for the first time in nearly a week (which here means 'a long enough time that I don't really remember'). I did a lot of biking. I worked on burning CDs for my trip down to grandma's (an effort I like to call 'Project Turkey Day.' And for dinner I made steak and mashed potatoes, and had a glass of wine.

And even though I under-did my steak a little bit and had to put it back in for a few minutes, and I tore up the cork for my new bottle of wine (which means I got cork *in* the wine, and had to use lastbottle's cork to close it), and my roomie is out Elsewhere which means I'm home alone (and 'alone' is generally not a good state for me to be in) -- despite that, I'm feeling pretty good.

So here's to being inexplicably content. *raises cup of tea* Cheers.
