Kind Words

It goes without saying that you are a likable person. Many that I know who have even just simply met you have said so. You have a great sense of humor, and are really fun to be around. You make people feel quite comfortable around you, and are a true gentleman. You like to have deep and meaningful conversations, and quite open and easy going, not getting upset easily. You have high moral standards, and you live up to them. You are very good to your friends, and are the first to try to help them out when they need it, to pick them up when they are down. You also a romantic, and a sentimental kind of guy, and you don't put on airs nor are you simply full or yourself (guys who go around like they are God's gift to women really get on my nerves).

Sometimes, it's just really nice to have your ego stroked...

Well, who wrote that, and did you ask her out? Nosey minds want to know!

My friend Meghan, and no, not yet.
And don't ask 'when,' either.  :p
Gosh, your worse than my mother.  :p

Wasn't gonna ask when.

Was gonna ask why not?

Once a Mom, always a Mom!

8^)

And, for the record, I agree with everything she said. So there!

The 'why not' bit is something I'm trying to figure out myself, though I'm sure the "she's 3000 miles away" bit isn't helping any.

But... you have no sons, ne? And your oldest isn't more than, what, 14?

-smiles- And I'm glad you agree. I actually think most of my friends would agree, but it's nice to have it said sometimes, too.

Ah, yes, 3000 miles can be troublesome.

I have no sons, and yes, Daisy is 14. (She's totally gorgeous, smart, and shiney-awesome too!) But still, the Mom traits are there, so those little details don't stop us!

[identity profile] jackofallgeeks.livejournal.com 2005-10-13 04:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes it can be. And there are other little bits that are sticking me as well, which I haven't exactly figured out yet... -shrugs-

-laughs- Yes, you have two lovely daughters, but they're both a little young for me, don't you think? ^_~

Funny note: I'm constantly thinking how silly it is for 14- and 15-year olds to be 'dating' and the like, but then I think to myself, "Self, wasn't YOUR first 'girlfriend' in 6th grade? Weren't you, like, 12?" Then I tell me to shut up.

[identity profile] photoholic62.livejournal.com 2005-10-13 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, wait, I wasn't trying to sell you on my daughter, no. You are both awesome, but not a good match even if she were anywhere near old enough to be thinking such thoughts. I was just bragging on my daughter because the opportunity arose. She really hasn't shown any interest in dating or having a boyfriend per say. She says "Mom, I have stuff to do!" I think it will be a very different trip with Melody, but I don't want to even taint that whole thought process yet. She is such a great kid too, I'm really lucky with my kids!

As is your Mom, it seems!

-laughs- I know you weren't. But, considering the discussion, it was just a little amusing. ^_^

Ha ha, she's a smart girl if she's not getting involved in any of it. Just causes problems, I say.  :p
