The weekly cycle.
Every week, I got out to the game store, play one of my favorite games with a room full of people who's company I really enjoy, talk with the owner of the shop about role-playing and board games, that out until midnight or later. And then come home and feel exceedingly sad.
Sometimes being energized by other people can have it's downsides, too.

Hope you're all right, though. Carl brought you up in conversation last night. We were discussing the finer points of last summer, and I mentioned housesitting for the McMicans.
"That was when I met Andrew," he said. "I want to hang out with Andrew again."
It's so good to know that my boyfriend loves my best guy friend (now if only I could get him and my best girl friend to quit being oil and water to each other...). ♥
Miss you, love you. ::hugs::

-smirk- I have to admit being a little... embarrassed? I'm not sure that's quite the word, but I like Carl, one might say 'admire', and so it's a little... flattering? To think that he's got a more-than-lukewarm opinion of me.
Miss you, too.

I mean, he tackled you. Leapt onto your back. I've not seen him be that effusive with his own best guy friends. :D

Actually, I think I'm more embarrassed that I'm, uhm, unable to express my admiration appropriately? That is, I don't think I necessarily come off as particularly admiring or whatever when We 3 hang out and stuff. But he is a very cool guy, and I've always enjoyed the hangings out, and the McMicans' or the bar, or whatever. He's a cool guy.

I should be in Maryland for about a week just before July 4th, but failing that I'm supposed to graduate in September...
