From our professor:
"I reviewed your TicTacToe submission. One note: you read the user list with each iteration through the 'for loop' contained in the 'while loop.' This is an excessive number of file reads which could dramatically impact the performance. Unless you expect the file to be modified during execution, it would be better to read it once and refer to the copied version."

A part of me is feeling rather smug about this, as I suggested the same thing when we were coding the thing, but I was overruled because 'it doesn't matter that much.'

Inquiring Minds Want to Know

This just in: Person has a name. And her name is Tahlia. And she's not actually-blond. And she *does* watch Farscape. But she can't follow Boolean Algebra (at least, not when Josh and I talk about it, which is understandable). And she's met Gene (he was quiet, also understandable). And she called me 'Andy' (Josh was who first referenced me, so it's understandable); this has left me a little embarrassed. And they were throwing snowballs at each other. And she kicking him in the shin for me.

ANDREW sits at his computer in California; JOSH walks outside in the snow with PERSON in Ohio. JOSH and ANDREW are on the Phone.

ANDREW: So, how cold is it there?
JOSH: Cold enough to snow.
ANDREW: Aw, I wish it was that cold. It's actually kinda warm here. Though, by 'here' I mean 'in my room with the door closed and my computer on.'
JOSH: Well, it's warm here, too, if by here I mean 'my body,' because I'm wrapped in sweatshirts and stuff.
ANDREW: 'It's warm here if you mean 'in the center of my chest!'
