HAAAAHAHAHAHAH!!!

I remember seeing something about that when Carl and I were over there back in March. Ohh, that's funny. Mainly because of the comparison between the health of the Japanese and that of Americans. Because the Japanese already have smaller average waist sizes and lower obesity levels than Americans, and yet they are being fined for obesity.

Maybe I shouldn't laugh. I don't think people should necessarily be punished for poor health (poor health tends to be punishment enough), but...well, I'm gonna come off potentially mean if I go on, so...

I'd just like to note that at my thinnest I has a 32" waist. While I don't feel I was unhealthy, I do think I was too thin. Toward the end of high school and through most of college I had a 34" waist. Lately, I think I have about a 36" waist, maybe a little more; I feel I do need to lose so weight, but I definitely don't feel I should aim for 33". i'm not built like that.
