No commentary on This,
just passing along a curiosity. A baby girl born in India has two faces,
and is being worshipped as a reincarnated god.

Oh man stuff like that creaps me out, mostly I think because it makes me think that nature really is random, and God doesn't exist. Not because he'd let something like that happen, but because such things make me wonder about the soul. Being of a tad more faith than me, what do you think?

Meh, it doesn't bother me, really. I mean, would you argue that someone has less of a soul if they have some kind of deformity? It's weird, yeah, but no more shocking, when it comes down to it, than the fact that I'm left-handed and my eyes are shaped like footballs.

In a way, I have more trouble in reference to the soul with Siamese twins. Not that I think Siamese twins don't have souls or are spiritually deformed or anything ridiculous like that, but when you think of a person as a unified body and soul (as I do), and associate the soul with the mind (as I do), complications arise when you find two distinct minds in one physical body. (Fewer problems if the twins are really just conjoined maybe, but definitely if they share vital organs, like the heart or stomach.)
