What day is it....?
Hi again.
I'm getting really good at neglecting this Journal, aren't I?
Finally got a call about work yesterday - it's Official, I'm working for the government. Sadly, all this means is that I KNOW I'm an employee - I still need to get a Security Clearence before I can start working. With any luck I'll get that by the end of next week. By an Act of Almighty God, I may be able to get it by the end of THIS week.
Yeah, and civilization as we know it could come to a sudden, crashing hault. Right.
Also been feeling bad about feeling bad - maybe some of you can relate. I almost feel... It's like there's all these things that just seem to get in my way... Generally, certain things have been bothering me, and theyve been bothering me for a while. Just little things, but it feels like I can get beyond them, and that makes me upset.
In time, everything will come together in time.
Parent's went outta town for a couple days last week - June 27th was the 25th or so aniversery of their first date. Coincidently, the 27th also marked 8 months since I'd met Claire (Collective 'Aw'). On the 7th, we'll have been going out for 4 months. Oh yeah, hitting the big numbers, now. ^^;;
Anyways, my parent's were first 'set-up' on a blind date to Disney World (or is it Land that's out her in California?), so they decided to "relive" it, in a sense, and left me with all the lil ones. While they were there, they found a new motto that Disney'd put on T-shirts and such - "Where the Magic Began." Needless to say, they each got a T-shirt and a picture frame. Sweet, no?
They also said that Disney Land is more fun with kids. It's "just not the same" and you "can't justify waiting in those long lines for the kiddy rides." Bonus poits go to whomever can guess which quote was from my mom and which was from my dad.
Tried going running the other day - went for two miles, but ended up walking more than I'ds liked. Back in 9th grade, I could run 3 miles in about 22-25min. This time, it took me over half an hour. I took yesterday off, and may go running t'day, but my legs hurt! It's a good kinda pain, though, and I do wanna get back into running. I like it. ^^
I suppose that's about it. in about 2 months I'll be back in school, back on the East Coast. Maybe I'll settle down then. ^^;; Maybe I'll get myself in trouble with ebay, to... ><* Ah well, until next time!

Oh, and about your parents - that is so sweet. ^_^ Who knows? Maybe Nekocon'll still be running 10 or so years from now, and you and Claire can return to that selfsame couch on which you spent your first night in each other's company. ^_^
