Reverse Schadenfreude, or something.
Generally speaking, this has so far been a pretty crappy week for just about everyone I know, and it's only Wednesday! If this isn't the case -- if something good has happened to you since last Friday afternoon -- please tell me. Anything to dilute all this negativity.

And on this past Sunday, while working the lunch rush, I made $85 in tips. Whee!
Hope your week gets better darlin.

Though, and granted I know as much about singing as a dog, but you taking voice lessons (coupled with the idea that they could go not-good) made me laugh a bit. Like... teaching Newton physics. Well, maybe not that drastic, but... Everyone in your family has a nice voice. even your dad! :p

So much for it being reversed.
Aside from that, I'm basically neutral.

It's actually been a pretty good week, come to think of it.

On bended knee.
In the middle of a crowded restaurant.
While he gazed soberly into my eyes and held my hand.
So that was pretty good. :3 I got a kiss out of it too, once I was done laughing.

Did he really do that? That's great! How did you ever end up with such an awesome, awesome, geek?

We were in the restaurant with his cousin Jamie, who was talking about this budding relationship with a girl he's been seeing. Carl jokingly asked if Jamie had changed his MySpace relationship status, then interrupted himself and said, "Speaking of which-"
That's when he got down on one knee in front of me, took my hand in his, and, gazing into my eyes, said, "Leslie, would you do me the honor of changing your MySpace profile from 'Single' to 'In a Relationship'?"
After I was done laughing (my gut reaction), I just said, "Yes, yes, yes..." and he kissed me.
Definitely the most interesting way I've ever been asked to become a girlfriend... XD I'm pretty happy with my geek-boy.
