After reading a second overly-snarky, only-mildly-amusing gamer review by Lore Sjoberg (the first being that one about WoW), I've decided he just has too much vinegar to be worth listening to at all.

Aww, that's too bad - I like Lore Sjöberg quite a bit, from his old Brunching days. I'll have to read this when I've more than a few stolen minutes at the keyboard.

I think it's fact that you have a heartier stomache for vitriolic snark than I do. Plus, I hazard a guess that attacks on gamers (particularly WoW-genre fantasy and Nintendo) hit closer to my person than to yours.

::laughs:: I dunno, I bleed when my fandoms are poked too. And Lore has poked mine. Oh yes. Pretty unfairly, too. Still a funny guy - as I recall, anyway. To be fair, it's been a long time since I kept up with Brunching (and I think the site's been reduced to archives, anyway), but I remember quite enjoying the movie reviews (most of them, the one I linked to decidedly not included) in particular. But I think my tastes in humor have matured a bit since the Old Days, so...eh. I dunno.
