In short: Lucas is releasing the unedited StarWars trilogy on DVD.

Lest I rave like a lunatic, I'll stop here, and eagerly await September.

I agree with you whole-heartedly on Lucas being an avaracious liar and fool, but I was already getting together te requisite technology to convert my VHS trilogy to DVD-R. This makes all that unnecessary, and it makes me happy, regardless.
