Requiem for a Dream

I just watched "Requiem for a Dream."
It didn't make me depressed, like most people said it would.
Mostly, it just made me ill; needles and pills and hospitals... I don't like that stuff.
And when it was all done, it just all seemed so... stupid. In a foolish, futile, sad sort of way.
I felt really bad for Ty because of everyone, he was the one who messed up the least.
And I came to hate Marian.

What, you mom would have bet that I'd've handled it OK and you would have bet, as most of my friends seemed wont to do, that I'd take it really hard?
