Requiem for a Dream
I just watched "Requiem for a Dream."
It didn't make me depressed, like most people said it would.
Mostly, it just made me ill; needles and pills and hospitals... I don't like that stuff.
And when it was all done, it just all seemed so... stupid. In a foolish, futile, sad sort of way.
I felt really bad for Ty because of everyone, he was the one who messed up the least.
And I came to hate Marian.

what i love about the movie (gasp, shock) is the main theme of the score. i first heard it used on the lord of the rings - two towers trailer (takin' it back, i know) ... and i've been enchanted/moved/thrilled by that bit of music since then.
i'm glad i didn't bet mom, as far as you watching it. she would have taken me to the back. oy.
Possibly Spoiler-y, for those who my care
