Back to a time that never was.

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now (even if we don't speak often), please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want - good or bad - BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people DON'T ACTUALLY remember about you!

The most creative will win a prize*!

I don’t actually remember the time you walked out of in boots, spurs, chaps, and cowboy hat, announcing that you were going to kiss computers goodbye and pursue your life long dream of being a bull rider and bronc buster. Then asked if you might borrow my horse tack for a while as I wouldn‘t be needing any of it any time soon. I told you this was a rather silly thing for you to do, but you said something about “doing what one is really interested in rather than what is practical. I got my saddle, head stall, bit, chinch etc, out and started helping you pile the tack into “Bronco” (your shinny new Pick-up Truck).

I further don’t really remember that we then headed straight down to a Rodeo to watch. During the course of watching “ the Broncs and the Blood, and the steers in the mud” you decided, you didn’t want to be a bull rider or even a bronc buster . . . You wanted to be a Rodeo clown, because that looked like a whole heck of a lot more fun. ;)
