So, I thought I might see if I could find some other pictures to put up on OKCupid -- the only one on there is the one that my "Seriously Though" icon comes from. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any. There simply are no good pictures of me. Pity. Though, I did consider the one I used for me "Who, Me?" icon, but...

I did, of course, find a number of lovely pictures of Sarah (who's a self-professed picture-whore), and of Alyce (who's a hard-core CosPlayer), and Anastasiya (who's just really cute when she tries to look moody and angst-ful).

The strategy

Here's how it goes, coming from someone with more experience in pictures. After you go through all of the files on your computer and decide you have no more acceptable pictures, you proceed by this algorithm.

while(true)
{
while(feeling_bad_about_appearance or dressed_sloppily or bad_timing)
{} //wait for another time
//now you must be feeling good about yourself and dressed nicely
find(digital_camera)
locate(background)
while(not found good picture)
{
take_pictures() //use timer setting on camera
review_pictures()
}
upload_pictures(camera, computer)
upload_pictures(computer, website)
}

(and yes, I do think this way sometimes ... credit my graduate Algorithms class)
