Tonight, I talked with Claire, Nifer, and Meredith, three of my favorite ladies. It made me very happy, and Nifer says she'll be up for a visit before the year's end. It will be so good to see her again; it's been nearly four years! Meredith seems to be getting alone well enough for herself; she recently broke up with her boyfriend for fear of losing her self-identity, and I think it was a good choice, hurt though it might. And Claire is always dear. And amusing, too. She's lots of fun to talk to; we really should do it more often.

I also got to talk with Jean for a time tonight. -laughs- I don't think anyone here, save maybe relatives and a lone friend, knows what significance she once had. We talked about school, and graduating, and The Future. It was nice.

But now, I must sleep. Last night was restless, and I fear tonight may be, as well. I want to say it's my nerves, but I wouldn't know what could be bothering me.

Out to Christendom again on Thursday. I still haven't heard back about the Scholarship.

I feel your pain on the scholarship issue. I'm staring down the barrel of a long wait on job apps and thinking, "can't they read their hundreds of applications a little *quicker*??"

That's EXACTLY how I feel.

I am, in fact, coming to Virginia. I will be there on the 27th of December and depart on the 2nd of January. And I'm going to paint that fucking town.
