"As Lovers Go" by Dashboard

Anastasiya thought these lyrics were appropriate...

"I'll be true
I'll be useful
I'll be cavalier
I'll be yours, my dear
And I'll belong to you if you just let me through"

Appropriate for what? To what? For whom? What for? Whatever I mean. Add your own grammar, mine sucks!

Appropriate for me, in relation to romance.  ^_^;;

It's a song from the Shrek2 soundtrack. Have you seen that movie yet? I just saw it with the family this past weekend, and thought it was pretty well done.

I see. In relation to romance and you and her? or just you?

Nah, I don't go to the movies. I wait until they come out at Blockbuster. Jeff and I have been together over 20 years, and have gone to the movies twice.

We saw Amadaus (sp?) because I got free tickets as part of a tip for myself and my crew back when I was baking.

We saw Hope Floats because part of it was filmed at our house (but we still had to pay for the tickets!) and that's it.

Luckily, I married someone as uncomfortable in movie theaters as I am. Funny how that works.

Ha. Well, I can't really speak for her, but I think it's appropriate for me in romance in general.

Was Amadeus any good? I wanted to see that but never have.

It was a wee bit dark (duh!) but the music made it worthwhile. I rented it again here recently for Oldest Daughter to see, but we had to return it before we had a chance to watch it. With only 2 more school days for the kids, and three more work days for me before summer break, I'm hoping we will have time to watch it after that. oooo another twisty sentence!

-grins- I like dark. And music.
Twisty sentences are the mark of a keen mind, just like a cluttered desk or stuffed pockets.

I also have the cluttered desk, see? ::pulls monitor down so you can see the clutter:: and often have the stuffed pockets and/or purse. I must be extra keen, eh?

I think you will like the movie then. It's cheap to rent since it's old, give it a whirl......
