What does "[sic]" mean?

[identity profile] jackofallgeeks.livejournal.com 2004-04-26 07:22 am (UTC)(link)
From Dictionary.com:

This word is sometimes inserted in a quotation [sic], to call attention to the fact that some remarkable or inaccurate expression, misspelling, or the like, is literally reproduced.

Intentionally so written (used after a printed word or phrase)

I'm just pointing to the fact that the spelling of 'suzanna' and 'watchoing' were hers, character-by-character. Not necessary, strictly speaking, but... -shrugs-
